Who is

Aileen Mitchener

Aileen grew up on Long Island, NY where she was introduced to Broadway theatre at a young age. Between field trips to the city and cassette tapes of Andrew Lloyd Webber's greatest hits in her grandmother's car, she knew that this was something she had to be a part of and began performing in choir and school plays!

Right before starting high school, her family uprooted from New York and settled in Memphis, TN. Fortunately, this move provided her with many opportunities to cultivate her artistic talents and passion while participating in over 20 clubs and honor societies.

She completed her undergrad at Belmont University and was able to grow her love of musical theatre while expanding on new and old hobbies such as running, drawing, and even playing competitive quidditch (see snapshots to the right)! 

After graduating with honors, she returned "home" to New York to continue pursuing musical theatre. These days she is split between DC and NYC beginning a new life with her husband, Musician First Class Matthew J Mitchener,(www.matthewjmitchener.com) of the US Navy Band.
